Rising Star driver Michael Annett heads to Lake Erie Speedway as rookie points leader

Chicago, IL – June 7, 2006

Rising Star Driver Michael Annett heads to Lake Erie Speedway holding on as rookie points leader in ASALMS North Series after three races this season. This is the second running of the Erie 100 for the 3/8s mile progressively banked paved oval in Pennsylvania. Kurt Smith, founder of RSDD, said that Michael tested this week at Lake Erie and made changes to the car which should provide some positive results on the track. Annett said, “I am excited to go back. It is a great facility and we learned a lot when we tested out there. I am really focused on having a good qualifying effort so that we can start up front in the race.”
