RISING STAR DRIVER MICHAEL ANNETT HEADS TO LORAIN SPEEDWAY FOR THE BENSON INTERNATIONAL 100

Chicago, IL – June 22, 2006

Rising Star Driver Michael Annett heads to Lorain Speedway this Saturday for the inaugural running of the Benson International 100 presented by Waffle House. In addition to naming the event, Benson International is also a sponsor of Annett’s #12 Ford Fusion for 2006, which is his rookie season. Annett said “I am very excited to have Benson International on board for this upcoming race weekend. We will hopefully put the bad luck behind us and get a strong finish for them.” It is anticipated that Annett will provide some ride-a-longs and autograph opportunities for the sponsor, which is expecting 40-50 associates at the event.

Annett is racing in the ASA Late Model Series North Division during their inaugural season this year. He will also be running a select schedule at South Boston, VA (NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series) for Barry Beggarly’s team. He is enrolled in the Rising Star Driver Development™ program and racing for Lorz Motorsports.
