RISING STAR DRIVER MICHAEL ANNETT RETURNS FROM SOBO WITH TOP
FIFTEEN FINISH AMONG EXPERIENCED DRIVERS

Chicago, IL – June 21, 2006

Rising Star Driver Michael Annett finished 12th at South Boston Speedway after qualifying 17th among a very experienced field of drivers. Annett said, “With SoBo being such a competitive field, it provided us with the opportunity to run with some of the best cars and drivers in the country. For the first 70 laps of the race, the car ran well and we were able to gain some track positions even with tight traffic. Then with the green flag waving for the entire last 80 laps, our car developed a loose condition which provided a challenge and hampered our march to the front. Barry Beggarly Motorsports prepared a great car for me that I hope I can put in victory lane soon.”

Annett is racing in the ASA Late Model Series North Division during their inaugural season this year. He will also be running a select schedule at South Boston, VA (NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series) for Barry Beggarly’s team. He is enrolled in the Rising Star Driver Development™ program and racing for Lorz Motorsports.
