Leesburg, Georgia (09/20/2006):
Devan Hall continues to develop into a future superstar
in the world of short track stock car racing down South.
The Leesburg, Georgia driver picked up another Pro Late Models Feature win,
this time at the South Georgia (GA) Motorsports Park in Cecil, Georgia in weekly
competition on Saturday September 16, 2006.
" We showed up with an open mind for the race just hoping for a decent finish," stated
Hall when talking about what turned out to be a dominating win in South Georgia. "We
ended up winning by a full straightaway and the thing is, we were just riding
for over 1/2 of the race," added Hall.
" The car was handling extremely well, it was just a little bit loose, but
it drove really well," continued the 16-year-old. "I wasn't having
to put any effort at all into driving the car. It's the best handling car we've
had all year, so I was happy for the win," Hall added.
" I look forward to seeing more results like this in the closing races this
season." He ended.
So far in the 2006 season, Hall has been running primarily in the Georgia Asphalt
Series, where despite limited appearances, ranks 32nd in the points chase.
Hall has been driving and competing since he was eight years old.
Born and raised in Leesburg, Georgia, he has already seen much success in his
career. He has over 50 trophies from racing including seventeen first place
awards and he won the Bandolero Bandits Georgia State Championship in 1999.
In 2005, he competed in five Georgia Asphalt Series races with three top ten
finishes.
