Devan Hall to make his ASA
Late Model Series Southern Division debut this weekend at the Watermelon
Capital (GA) Speedway.

Peach State teenager, Devan Hall will make his ASA
Late Model Series Southern Division Presented by GM Performance Parts
Debut this Saturday October 7, 2006.
The ASALMS Southern Division will make their second Georgia appearance of the
2006 season this Saturday October 7, 2006 at the Watermelon Capital (GA) Speedway
in Cordele, Georgia for the running of the Watermelon 100. Hall, who lives
just 50 minutes away in near-by Leesburg, Georgia, will test his skills against
a slew of talented drivers within the ASALMS Southern Division.
In addition to several Pro Late Model Feature wins this year at various facilities
throughout the South during the 2006 season, Hall has also been running in
select appearances in the Georgia Asphalt Series. On August 19, 2006, Devan
broke the Pro Late Models track record at the Mobile (AL) International Speedway
in Mobile, Alabama and then going out and dominating the Feature for the win.
Hall's new track record at Mobile broke the two month old record of a 17.793
held previously by Steven Davis and was timed at 17.766.
Hall has been competing for Rising Star Driver Development during the 2006
season. Rising Star also houses ASALMS Northern Division competitor and Rookie
title contender, Michael Annett.
Hall's best finish in the Georgia Asphalt Series so far during the 2006 season
was at Watermelon Capital back on April 15, 2006 when the Peach State teen
finished 12th in the G.A.S. Series' third race of the 2006 season.
Born and raised in Leesburg, Georgia, he has already seen much success in his
career. He has over 50 trophies from racing including seventeen first place
awards and he won the Bandolero Bandits Georgia State Championship in 1999.
In 2005, he competed in five Georgia Asphalt Series races with three top ten
finishes.
