Rising Star Driver Development™ (“RSDD”) is composed of specialized training modules developed by industry experts that are tailored to meet each driver’s specific needs. A driver must complete our 12-month program to receive our training certificate.

What Our Drivers Can Expect

Recruited drivers must participate in a baseline assessment of their nutrition, physical fitness and media relations skills. All drivers will be required to complete our physical fitness & nutritional tests; fill out a series of questionnaires; conduct a mock media interview, and complete a marketing assessment. Drivers will then travel to a testing facility in Florida so we can gauge their on-track performance and test their aptitude in a number of different areas. All instructor assessments are then downloaded into a proprietary software program, where a baseline assessment is generated for each driver. Each driver that qualifies for the RSDD program will be given monthly report cards by the RSDD staff that gauges their progress.

RSDD has partnered with KGC, a premier strategic marketing consultancy, to interview drivers and determine how to “brand” the driver during their racing career for sponsorship and fan loyalty. Dedicated marketing resources will be provided for each RSDD driver including a driver website which will be updated continually, a fan base outreach program, a strategic sponsorship effort and committed public relations efforts to increase the RSDD drivers’ visibility and marketability.

RSDD will then discuss career goals and options with the driver and their parents to determine the best racing career plan for the driver. RSDD has several sports marketing veterans on staff, including an attorney with over 17 years of experience in the sports marketing industry, to negotiate contracts and to place drivers with the best professional racing teams. The driver will follow their racing plan and RSDD will augment their career with marketing opportunities such as sponsorship, endorsements and testimonials.

Team Fees

Professional teams may place their drivers in the RSDD program for a fee.

Individual Fees

Individual drivers may also participate in the RSDD program. Fees may be deferred, pending an initial driver assessment and the driver’s agreement to participate fully in the program.
